Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

I sometimes forget that there are three R’s and for whatever reason seem to prioritize recycling. More recently it dawned on me that they’re probably in that order for a reason—Reduce first, reuse if you must, then as a last resort, recycle. If you’re here, you are probably already on the reduce train. You believe in quality over quantity. Unlike nan’s china, I’d love for my goods to get used on the regular. I love hearing about your rituals and seeing how a candle fits so perfectly into your home. So, when you use them up, I’ll now reuse the vessels.

Drop off your used glass vessel at Johnny Ruth (183 Water Street in St. John’s). It’s not necessary, but would be appreciated if you clean it out with hot water and soap. I’m accepting all amber glass vessels*

In exchange for the return, you’ll be able to get $1 off whatever you buy next. Stay tuned, I’ll also be releasing candles in new extra special vessels which I’ll refill for you. Thank you for making the effort!

*I will not be accepting the empty aluminum tins at this time, those can be recycled at home.
